Local Mansfield Company looking for a Press Set- up Operator. This Person will perform a variety of basic manufacturing job functions under the direct supervision of the Metal Fabrication Supervisor or designee.
Primary Responsibilities
Set up and Operation of ALL stamping presses and peripheral equipment needed to run single hit and Progressive Stamping Dies.
Able to Set-up and Run ALL production equipment related to stamping, forming, or shaping parts .
Able to Handle all sizes and weight of COIL or strip material needed, using Hoists, Cranes or Tow Motors.
Responsible for ensuring the parts are in spec before starting the production stamping operation or turning the operation over to another operator.
Responsible for making continuous part inspections throughout the entire process.
Responsible for creating a safe and professional work environment for others.
2 years’ Experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
1-year Prior Experience in the set-up and operation of Punch Presses is required. Experienced on BLISS, AIDA and MINSTER Presses up to 350 Tons is preferred Training.
Complete Operation and understanding of Material De-coilers, Feeders and Straighteners.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am 3:30 Pay is 20.00 per hour
