Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in operating CNC Mill or Lathe machines to join our fast-growing fabrication company. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to the production of high-quality machined components. This is a 2nd shift position, and training on the 1st shift may be required.
Responsibilities:
*Operate CNC Mill or Lathe machines effectively to produce precision components.
*Perform machine setup and program edits to optimize machining processes.
*Demonstrate mastery of G-Code programming for accurate and efficient machining.
*Utilize GibbsCam (experience a plus) to enhance machining capabilities.
*Work with cnc vertical machine centers and parts feeding as required.
*Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production operations.
*Adhere to quality standards and conduct regular checks to maintain product integrity.
*Contribute to a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
*A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a CNC Mill or Lathe in a job shop with a high mix environment.
*Proficiency in machine setup and program edits for optimal machining.
*Strong knowledge of G-Code programming for precise and efficient machining.
*Experience with GibbsCam is advantageous.
*Familiarity with cnc vertical machine centers and parts feeding is a plus.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
*Flexibility to work 2nd shift (with potential 1st shift training) and overtime as required.
