🔹 Summary/Objective 🔹
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You'll operate machinery, work collaboratively with the Lead Operator, and focus on producing high-quality parts for our valued customers.
🔹 Essential Functions 🔹
1️⃣ Quality Assurance:
- Ensure proper plating of customers' parts according to the Factory Work Order (FWO).
- Communicate with the Lead Operator if any information is inaccurate or missing.
2️⃣ Machine Setup:
- Verify machine setup is correct, including cycle, amperage, load size, etc.
- Handle customers' parts with delicacy and care.
3️⃣ Production Line Management:
- Collaborate with the Lead Operator to ensure the production line is plating correctly.
- Check parts coming off the line for correct thickness, chromate, and packaging.
4️⃣ Paperwork Completion:
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
5️⃣ Equipment Operation:
- Safely operate machinery and follow all safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
6️⃣ Work Area Maintenance:
- Keep the work area clean and aisles unobstructed for a safe and organized environment.
7️⃣ Safety Awareness:
- Inform the Lead Operator of any maintenance or machine issues that may cause safety concerns.
- Suggest improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.
🔹 Physical Demands 🔹
The position requires regular talking and hearing.
Physical activities include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
Occasionally, lifting and moving items over 50 pounds may be required.
Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, are needed.
