Machine Op/Injection Molding Plastic

Mancan Staffing has partnered with a company in Middlefield in need of machine operators. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 3pm-11pm and candidates will be paid $15.10/hr to start.
Job Summary: Responsible for producing, inspecting, and packaging quality parts within established production standards
Primary Functions:
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Accurately complete required production and labor reporting paperwork
• Perform high quality work with a minimum of 100% production efficiency
• Perform high quality work with a minimum of 97% quality efficiency
• Inspect 100% of all part and inserts molded and sort by means of visual inspections, touch, and measuring devices to insure parts have no defects
• Communicate with previous shift operator to receive important job information
• Communicate with following shift operator to give importation job information
• Follow operator methods/work instructions and control plans as provided
• Immediately notify supervisor of any out of control conditions (ex: scrap, molding difficulties)
Requirements/Training:
• Safety training
• On the job training
• Must follow any other reasonable instructions provided by their Supervisor as this job description may not be all inclusive
• Must function in the best interest of the organization as a whole in order to promote an effective team oriented environment
Physical Requirements:
• Perform job while standing or sitting. Must be able to climb up and down a step ladder
• Use loading board, max 15 lbs.
• Lift material/cartons from floor, max 40 lbs
