Job Details:
-30 day temp-to-hire positions.
-30 day full training provided before you will be driving on your own.
-15.50 per hour with an increase upon hire.

This is a temp to hire role that pays $15.50/hour
Routes leave at 4,5, or 6am, but during training new hires report at 4am on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. While this position may only work 4-5 days a week, they do average 45-55 hours a week.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Deliver products to customer, leaving orders in specific locations based on customers’ preference.
• Upon delivery, ensure customers verify and sign off on the invoice for product, and collect payment as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post- trip inspection requirements for truck and maintain cleanliness and return required sign off to Transportation Attendant with daily packet.
• Continuous and timely communication with the Transportation Attendant regarding:
*Any deviations from the daily schedule and route.
* Product quality.
* Mis-picks that require a credit.
* Short ships.
* Issues or customer complaints.
• Meet established time frames for delivery window and work with a sense of urgency to complete route.
• Accurately complete logging of time times and filling out appropriate paperwork throughout route.
• Attention to detail for quality and matching correct product and quantity ordered via invoice.
• Responsible for recovery and documentation on packet of milk crates at each stop.
• Support team by aiding other Delivery Drivers with their routes for completion as required.
• Maintain cleanliness vehicle by removing garbage and cleaning box per sanitation requirements.
• Follows all handling and reporting procedures for allergens.
• Efficiently handle products with proper care to prevent damage and waste.
• Safely operates equipment during process of delivery and moving product products.
• Participates in maintaining a safe work environment, always using safe lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching practices and following safety procedures.
• Uses, cleans, and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and keeps work and storage areas orderly to ensure compliance with company sanitation and safety regulations.
Other responsibilities, duties, and projects as assigned.
No CDL certification required, box truck experience preferred. Requires valid driver’s license and minimal points on driving record. Successfully able to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
Delivery driver on route all day, working outdoors, will be faced with seasonal changes. Will be required to regularly enter and exit vehicle, pull down ramp, and push/lift product for delivery on customer premises.
