Canton Company is seeking an Oil and Gas Manager for a busy Canton company!
Job Summary: The Oil & Gas Manager plays a crucial role in managing the operations of one of the Warehouses that is dedicated to servicing the Oil & Gas industry. This position combines warehouse supervision with inside sales responsibilities, ensuring the efficient dispatch and return of our Oil & Gas trailers, as well as fostering strong customer relationships. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the auditing process, to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Fleet Management:
• Supervise and coordinate the dispatch, auditing, and restocking of Oil & Gas trailers.
• Ensure timely delivery and return of trucks to and from oil pads, meeting the high turnaround expectations of our customers.
• Work closely with drivers to manage schedules and address any operational issues that arise.
Auditing Process:
• Oversee the auditing of returned trailers, ensuring all items taken are accurately accounted for and customers are correctly charged.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment and supplies on each trailer, ensuring transparency and accuracy in customer billing.
Warehouse Oversight:
• Manage all warehouse operations related to Oil & Gas equipment, including stocking, organization, and inventory control.
• Ensure that all trailers are properly stocked and ready for deployment, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of Warehouse 40.
Inside Sales Support:
• Handle customer inquiries related to Oil & Gas services, providing knowledgeable and prompt responses.
• Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Assist with order processing and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Adjust trailers to the specifications given by the customers, handling customers both in person and over the phone.
Communication & Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Oil & Gas operations and other departments, including sales, purchasing and our other warehouses.
• Provide regular updates to the Main Warehouse Manager on operations, inventory levels, and any issues affecting service delivery.
Skills:
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage warehouse staff and coordinate operations effectively.
• Customer Service: Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, especially in the auditing process and record-keeping.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure warehouse and fleet operations run smoothly.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, fleet management, or a related field, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (ERP) and computers.
• Basic sales experience or strong customer service background is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. unassisted to shoulder height and up to 100 lbs. from floor to hip height.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for up to 95% of the workday.
• Capable of bending, stooping, and reaching overhead as required.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
