As a Smokehouse Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process, ensuring the proper operation of industrial smokehouses and contributing to the overall success of our facility. This position requires individuals with exceptional reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to adapt to the demands of the production environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate industrial smokehouses following company policies and procedures.
Work in both hot and cold environments, adapting to temperature variations.
Unload products at the completion of the cook cycle.
Monitor controls throughout the cook cycle to ensure proper smokehouse operation.
Conduct process checks during the shift to meet regulatory requirements and maintain quality standards.
Fill out required paperwork documenting process checks accurately.
Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals.
Complete other tasks unrelated to smokehouse operation, as required.
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to learn and operate industrial smokehouses in accordance with company policies.
Willingness to work in both hot and cold environments.
Physically able to unload products at the completion of the cook cycle.
Monitor controls throughout the cook cycle to ensure proper operation.
Conduct process checks to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and reliability are essential.
