Mancan Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our team in Washington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient shipment of finished goods, maintaining proper counts, and performing visual inspections to guarantee quality. Pay: 💵 $16.00 - $16.50 per hour 💵
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm ⏰
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain a high level of productivity to ensure finished goods are promptly shipped upon completion. 🏃♂️
- Perform visual inspections and maintain accurate counts on all materials shipped. 🔍
- Construct special skids and crates as required. 🛠️
- Pull and stock inventory as needed. 📦
- Package finished parts securely to ensure safe delivery to the final destination. 📦🔒
- Set up and operate shrink wrap machines. 🔄
- Load trucks with completed shipments. 🚛
- Perform basic assembly using hand tools. 🔧
**Tools and Equipment Used:**
- Radial arm saw
- Pneumatic stapler
- Electronic scales
- Razor knife
- Hand saw
- Tape machines
- Hand banders
- Miscellaneous hand tools
- Pallet wrapper
**Certifications Required:**
- Forklift certified 🏗️
**Qualifications:**
- Basic computer skills 💻
- Attention to detail 👀
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance record 💪
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license 🚗🚦
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment 🏃♂️
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn 😄
- Team player 🤝
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, reach, and turn 💪
